Newshore started its activity in The Philippines in 2018 and since then it has become a key element in supporting customers in the APAC region and reinforcing the service that Newshore provides to airlines in other regions of the world. We continue growing, therefore we are hiring in the Philippines. This position is open to work remotely from anywhere in The Philippines

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.

As a .Net Developer  main responsibilities will be:

• Design, code, review, test and manage various applications.
• Collaborate with engineering team and product team to establish best products.
• Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems.
• Generating ideas with team members and offering insightful solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience working with .NET or relevant experiences
• Experience developing web-based applications in C#, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript/ASP, or .NET
• Experience working with MS SQL Server and MySQL Knowledge of practices and procedures for full software design life cycle
• Experience working in agile development environment.
• Spoken and written English

And some nice to have skills too:

• Principles and design patterns (SOLID. KISS, DRY..)
• Expierence in SOAP and Umbraco is a plus
• Experience in any Javascript Frameworks, could be (Angular, Vue or React)
• Experience with Typescript
• Design methodology (XP, Scrum, Kanban...)
